The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 41: The Time Travel Edition
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
The Dads Must Be Crazy podcast is on temporary hiatus, but we did record some extra content when it appeared we may be off for a bit. This one, recorded on March 15th, is actually before we went into our sequester. Most of the episode tries to predict what we will do over what was then considered to be a 2 week "staycation" for the kids. Then our jobs got shut down, too. So what did we expect to be doing? And how close are we to our prediction? You might have to check our daily (mostly) CoronaBlog on niagaraswatercooler.com to see.

The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 40: Prepping for the New Normal
Friday Mar 20, 2020
Friday Mar 20, 2020
The Dads Must Be Crazy Podcast did two quick hit episodes before we signed off temporarily over Covid-19 concerns. This episode will be followed Wednesday by the second one. In the meantime, we are blogging our lives as we work to keep our kids focused on education and keep households running under tightened circumstances. In this episode, we talk about some of the facts and some opinions that we each have. It is important to note, even though we may have differing opinions, we can still talk rationally about them. There's no need to fight and call each other names over differing opinions. Stay safe and keep checking out the website for more updates.

The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 39: Making Time For Date Night
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Wednesday Mar 11, 2020
Craig and Howie talk about making time for date night with their wives. Bobby was away, doing dad things for a daughter's birthday. How do you make time for those evenings away? The show ended up talking a lot about the shows at Shea's Theater in Buffalo. Season tickets to the theater are something that Howie and Craig do with their wives. It usually includes going out to dinner together and carpooling.
Programming Note: The Dads Must Be Crazy will temporarily be released on Friday mornings.

The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 38: Dreams of the Fathers
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
Wednesday Mar 04, 2020
In this week's podcast, coronavirus starts out the conversation, which leads into what happens when the kids get sick. We talk about the dreaded phone call from parents where the kids just had a sleepover that someone is sick in the house, or even worse.... lice. Then we talk about how our days went when we were kids and were home from school sick. Remember the Price is Right and mom's soaps?

The Dads are down to a duo for this week's podcast as Bobby was feeling under the weather. So Craig and Howie talk about the dreams we've had, especially after watching David Ayres live out his in front of the world. What dreams do our kids have, and what can we do to assist them without overstepping the bounds and becoming THOSE parents?

The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 36: Dads - We're Parents, Too
Wednesday Feb 19, 2020
Wednesday Feb 19, 2020
For the Dads podcast this week, we invited special guest, Bob Confer to join us. There's a lot less pop culture and we are able to keep Howie under control (mostly). We talk about being the parents of twins and how different they are despite having the same life experiences. We also talk about how Dads aren't babysitting when they have the kids. We're parenting. And Craig has an issue with people who didn't think he was "man enough" because he stayed home with the kids while his wife worked.

The Dads Must Be Crazy Ep. 35: When the Cat's Away
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
Wednesday Feb 12, 2020
We are down to a duo this week as Craig has been under the weather. So what happens when you leave Howie and Bobby to their own devices? They end up talking about jobs they've had, and new adventures in the job market that both are taking. Craig does make a tiny appearance at the very end, but it's not really worth listening to the scratchiness that comes out. But stay tuned! We will have a special guest for next week's show.

Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
Wednesday Feb 05, 2020
In this week's Dads podcast, it's Super Bowl Sunday when we record, just a couple of hours before kickoff. Our predictions turn into a full-fledged tangent on sports. We talk football, baseball, and hockey. Lots of Hockey. And then we talk about cows running down the middle of Transit Road, which brings up a story from Craig about living in the country.
